Whether you’re on the beach bonding with the whole family, or with hanging with friends over cocktails, there is nothing like a spectacular Balinese sunset to set the mood. If you’re into sunset-watching (who isn’t) and you’re vacationing in Bali, check out these recommendations for stunning sunset views:

Kuta Beach

We’re starting our list with a quintessential beachside sunset in beautiful Kuta Beach. Kuta is one of the most up-beat places to be in Bali, and the sunset alone is worth the visit! Since there are loads of cafés and restaurants by the shore, it’s super easy to catch a great view. You and the rest of the family can dine out, as you watch the sky slowly turn from blazing red into yellow and orange.

Bukit Peninsula

The Bukit Peninsula is full of small restaurants and bars on top of a cliff. You get a sweeping view of the Indian Ocean, and on the horizon, a spectacular sunset display! You can enjoy a drink, or have dinner with family and friends as you bask in the orange glow of the Balinese sunset!

Jimbaran Bay

Just like the famed cliff in Bukit Peninsula, Jimbaran Bay is home to a host of restaurants. Dine near the shores and wait for the famed light show from the sunset. Jimbaran Bay is also known for its romantic restos so if you’re with your significant other, this is an excellent place to enjoy the sunset and dine al fresco on fresh seafood!

Tanah Lot Temple

Tanah Lot temple is easily one of the most photogenic places on the whole island. Now, imagine the famed temple bathed in the orange glow of the sunset. Of course, being one of the most beautiful spots in Bali, Tanah Lot temple attracts a lot of admirers. So be prepared to watch the sunset with lots of other visitors.

Lembongan Island

Lembongan Island isn’t exactly a part of Bali’s main island, but this white sand beach offers a jaw-dropping view of the sunset. Plus, because the beach isn’t crowded, you get an intimate look at the sunset accompanied by the ocean’s soft, rolling waves. Bring a blanket and snuggle up to watch the show!
